Today was a cold, but beautiful day for another winter hike at Thomas Mitchell Park. This time we started our hike near the campground.
Afterwards, my boys enjoyed playing on the icy creek and on the playground. The campground restrooms are closed, however there are portable toilets available. The restrooms near the playground are also closed for winter.
We saw quite a few people sledding while we were there. Some near the pond, some near the playground and others on the hiking trail by the youth campground.
