Dean Park in Ankeny has a nice playground and a small splash pad. One of the play structures is toddler-friendly and there are baby swings.
The park has a basketball court with an adjustable hoop, a shelter with 4 picnic tables and no restrooms. There's no parking lot, but plenty of street parking is available.
