Rotary Riverwalk Park in Des Moines is next to the new
Lauridsen Skatepark. My boys loved watching the skaters and are now begging for skateboards.
The park has just a couple play elements. A huge bobber to climb on and three swings.
While in the area, I recommend crossing the
Iowa Women of Achievement pedestrian bridge. There's a great view of the capitol as you walk east on the bridge.
