The playground is next to a very large parking lot, as in a triathlon was staged in the parking lot and there was still plenty of room to park. There's also a shelter near the playground, which has restrooms behind it.
I love all the local history that's reflected throughout the playground, from the Squirrel Cage Jail to a Union Pacific train to a Lewis and Clark boat. Informational signs are posted near each.
