Strasser Woods in Des Moines has a short, kid-friendly hiking trail which connects to the Gay Lea Wilson Trail. The trail starts as a gravel trail and then changes to a dirt trail. We enjoyed our short hike here and it was a great place to stop in addition to Copper Creek Lake Park nearby.
