After hiking at Ledges, we opted for an easy lunch at McDonald's in Boone. It's not where we had planned to go, but my kids spotted the PlayPlace from the road and asked to stop.
I wondered if it was for litle kids, but it turned out that 7 was a great age for the play structure and the touch screen games. In fact, the other kids there today were all older than my two.
I'm not a fan of McDonald's, but it turned out to be a great option for free indoor play and I love that there's several tables and booths in the play area, so I'd definitely go back.
