Sandpiper Recreation Area has a
playground and scenic viewing area. You'll see the playground first when you arrive. For the scenic viewing area, keep going until the road ends in a large parking lot. There are three shaded picinc tables and two fire pits with seating.
From there you can walk down to the water and follow the shoreline north or south. We headed north today and my kids really enjoyed digging in the sand and playing with the driftwood.
