The
Old Capitol Museum in Iowa City is the site of Iowa's first capitol, which opened in 1842. Admission is free and it's open Wednesday-Saturday. Between the protestors and graduates taking photos it was a very popular place to be today. I'm glad we stopped, it was interesting to see and easy to combine with a visit to the
Museum of Natural History next door.
