Lions Park in Urbandale has a new splash pad along with the existing playground, which has three play structures. All areas of the playground are very shady in the morning and there are many shady picnic tables. New pickleball courts, a tennis court and three 1/2 basketball courts will be completed in late Fall 2024.
The splash pad has unique water features and there are several shaded benches and picnic tables that surround the splash pad. Olmsted Elementary is across the street and also has a great playground.
