I like hiking at Margo Frankel Woods in the spring and fall, but was reminded today why it's not a great choice in the summer. The 2-mile trail was overgrown and very buggy.
PARKING - The gate to the main parking lot is locked seasonally from approximately November to March. The second gate is only open if the back shelter is reserved.
PLAYGROUNDS - The park has two playgrounds. You'll see the first playground when you enter the park. The second is reached by walking on the road past the second gate, or hiking up the stairs which you'll see along the hiking trail.
RESTROOMS - There are vault restrooms near both playgrounds.
