The Sergeant Floyd River Museum & Welcome Center is inside the retired M.V. Sergeant Floyd, a boat once used by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The boat was named after Sergeant Charles Floyd, a member of the Lewis and Clark expedition.
Just a short walking distance from the museum is a playground at Chris Larsen Park and the Lewis & Clark Interpretative Center, which makes it even more worthwhile to make a stop here when traveling on I-29.
