Playground & Storywalk at Altoona Public Library - Altoona, Iowa

 

The Altoona Public Library has a small playground and Storywalk, or Tale Trail as they call it.  I have a chess obsessed kid who enjoyed the game table (bring your own pieces), while my other kid climbed. 

The Storywalk trail is a 1/2 mile total and a little confusing to follow.  After heading south past the pond, you'll head east toward the tunnel under Venbury Dr.  You turn around shortly after passing City Hall, to loop back and read the displays on the other side of the trail.
