CyBowl & Billards is a very affordable place to bowl on the Iowa State campus in Ames. It's located on the ground floor level of the Memorial Union with connected parking available in the Memorial Union parking ramp. Parking costs a little over $2/hour (rates vary depending on length of time).
There are 8 bowling lanes, 5 pool tables and a few arcade games. They also have free games like ping pong, cornhole, shuffleboard, giant Jenga and a variety of board games, including some kid-friendly options like Sorry and Battleship.
Bumpers are available for bowling, you just have to ask to have them pulled up, and there's one ball ramp available for little kids. They have a wide variety of shoe sizes and ball sizes for kids too.
Snacks and appetizers are available at the Underground Cafe, which is located in CyBowl & Billiards. There's plenty of tables to enjoy a snack while playing board games.
